36mm, 38mm & 40mm Cases for Seiko Mod Builds
Every case here has 20mm lugs, and almost every one takes a 28.5mm dial and comes with a sapphire crystal already fitted. Choose the size first, then the bezel style.
Cases by Size
- 36mm: Explorer style or fluted bezel, in steel, gold, rose gold and two-tone, and Explorer style in brushed or sandblasted grade 2 titanium. Most take the NH35 or NH36, with a screw-down sterile crown that can be swapped for an SKX013 crown; the sandblasted titanium case lists the NH movement and a sterile crown.
- 38mm: Explorer, fluted bezel, or a sandblasted flat bezel sold with an Oyster bracelet, for the NH movement.
- 40mm: Explorer or fluted bezel, in steel, gold, rose gold and two-tone, for the NH35 or NH36, with a sterile crown.
- Alpinist style: 41.3mm without the crown on most, with a green, blue, black or white chapter ring. The steel bezel versions take the 7S, 4R, NH35, NH36 or NH38. The fluted versions have a second crown and take the NH or 4R, as each page says. The GMT versions are made for the Seiko NH34 GMT movement, with an engraved GMT bezel and a second crown that turns the inner ring.

Which movements do these cases take?
The 36mm, 38mm and 40mm cases take the NH35 or NH36 (NH movement). The Alpinist-style cases with a steel bezel take the 7S, 4R, NH35, NH36 or NH38, the fluted ones the NH or 4R, as each page says, and the GMT Alpinist-style cases are made for the Seiko NH34 GMT movement.

Does the case come with a crystal?
Almost every case here comes with a sapphire crystal already fitted, flat on most and double dome on some of the 36mm gold and rose gold cases.
