SKX013 Sapphire Crystals for Seiko Mod Builds
Every crystal here is sapphire, made for the Seiko SKX013. Sapphire is extremely hard, so it resists scratching. Choose double dome or flat, then match the crystal to your bezel insert.
Double Dome
- For a flat insert: the SKX013 Double Dome Sapphire Crystal – For Flat Insert, with no gap between crystal and insert when fitted with our flat ceramic insert. It also lists our SKX013 stainless insert.
- For a slope insert: the SKX013 Double Dome Sapphire Crystal – For Slope Insert, with no gap when fitted with our slope ceramic insert.
- Bevel edge: a double dome with a bevelled edge, for our flat ceramic and stainless SKX013 inserts.
- For the NH34 movement: a double dome with clearance for the NH34 GMT movement, for our flat and slope SKX013 ceramic inserts.
A double dome crystal is domed on both the outside and the inside, which reduces the distortion a single dome gives at the edge of the dial.
Flat
Flat sapphire in blue AR with a bevel edge, or clear AR. One clear AR crystal is made to the specification of the original SKX013 Hardlex crystal, to keep the stock look.

Which crystal do I need for my insert?
Match the crystal to the insert's profile. The double domes titled for a flat or a slope insert leave no gap when fitted with our ceramic insert of that profile. The bevel edge double dome suits our flat ceramic and stainless inserts, and the NH34 double dome both our flat and slope SKX013 ceramic inserts.
Will an SKX007 crystal fit my SKX013?
No. The SKX013 crystals are 28mm across at the base and the SKX007's are 31.5mm, so each watch takes its own. Every crystal here is made for the SKX013.
Is there a crystal that keeps the stock look?
