Stainless SKX007 & SRPD Bezel Inserts for Seiko Mod Builds
Every insert here is made for the SKX007 and SRPD platform — 37.8mm across the outside, 31.8mm across the inside — and swaps straight into the rotating bezel already on the watch. On a steel insert for your SKX007 mod, the markings are part of the metal — cut into it on the Sub Style, Vintage Sub and Explorer, standing proud of a brushed field on the Yacht Masters — rather than printed onto a surface.
Insert Styles & Designs
The Yacht Master inserts carry raised numerals at each ten with a baton at each five, graduated across the first fifteen minutes. Sub Style comes in plain steel and with a red 12, and the Vintage Sub pairs bare engraved steel with a red triangle at 12. The Explorer is numbered 1 to 12 with an arrow between each hour instead of a sixty-minute dive track, so a full turn of the bezel counts twelve hours.
Colors & Finishes
Black, silver, gun metal, gold, rose gold and a Chameleon finish that shifts with the angle of the light. Because the Yacht Master numerals are raised from the steel rather than printed in a second colour, the black one reads by shape rather than by contrast — the figures declare themselves when the light crosses them, and the rest of the time it is a plain dark ring.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the markings printed on, or part of the steel?
Part of the steel. On the Sub Style, Vintage Sub and Explorer the numerals, batons and graduations are cut into the metal; on the Yacht Masters they stand proud of a brushed field.
Will one of these fit my SRP Turtle or SKX013?
No. These are 37.8mm outer and 31.8mm inner, which is the SKX007, SKX009, SKX011 and SRPD size. The SRP Turtle Re-issue's steel inserts are 39mm by 32.7mm and the SKX013's are 33.7mm by 27.4mm, so each watch takes its own. Measure the insert already in your bezel if you are not certain which you own.
Do I need a new crystal to fit one?
Not for the Sub Style, Vintage Sub and Explorer: each lists the SKX007's original Hardlex crystal, so the crystal you already have carries over. The Yacht Master inserts recommend the SKX007/SRPD Type 1 Double Dome Sapphire Crystal, and none lists the Hardlex.
