What makes this one read as vintage is what has been left off: there are no fine minute graduations across the first quarter, just the numerals at each ten and a baton at each five, which is how dive bezels were cut before they filled up with information. A red triangle sits at 12 on this steel bezel insert, against otherwise bare engraved metal. The result is a much emptier face than the modern Sub style beside it, and on an SKX007 mod aiming at a period look that emptiness is the entire point — it fits the bezel you already have and takes the original Hardlex crystal.
