Watch Straps & Bracelets for Seiko Mod Builds
Everything for the wrist side of a build: steel bracelets shaped for one case family, rubber straps made for a particular case, and two-piece rubber, NATO and leather straps that go on any watch with the right lug width.
Steel Bracelets, by Watch
Bracelets are 316L stainless steel with solid end links, mostly with screw links. The Oyster is a three-link pattern with wide centre links, the Jubilee has five links across, and the President has three rounded links. Super Engineer, Hexad and Beads of Rice come on some cases too. Each bracelet is made for its own watch, so choose yours:
- SKX007 and SRPD & SSK001
- SKX013, SRP Turtle and SRPE
- SSK023, SRPG, SRPK and SSC813
- Alpinist SARB017, SNZF17, Samurai and SRPL Shogurai
- Our MM300, 62mas and 36mm and 40mm cases
Rubber, NATO & Leather Straps
- FKM rubber for one case: straps made for the SKX007/SRPD, SKX013 and MM300 cases, and straps with steel end links for the SRPE, SRPK, SSK023 and SRPL Shogurai.
- Two-piece FKM: waffle, tropic and stitched straps in 20mm or 22mm, and a 22mm FKM strap. The waffle strap fits watches with a 20mm or 22mm lug width, whatever the case style.
- Herringbone NATO: nylon straps, 1.4mm thick, in 20mm, 22mm or both depending on the colour.
- Leather: classic, stitched, stitched suede, pebbled, Epsom and Saffiano straps from 16mm to 22mm, a sailcloth strap, and a 22mm cowhide strap made for our square SKX007/SRPD conversion case. See the leather watch straps.
Spring Bars
Several SKX007 bracelets and the SKX007 FKM straps let you choose fat spring bars for the SKX007 or spring bars for the SRPD and SSK. The SRPD bracelets use slim spring bars and are recommended only for the SRPD and SSK GMT. The waffle and tropic straps come with two spring bars, and fat spring bars won't fit them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will an SKX007 bracelet fit my SRPD or SSK?
Some will. Several SKX007 bracelets, including the President and Super Engineer, come with a choice of spring bars for the SRPD and SSK or fat spring bars for the SKX007. The SRPD bracelets don't work the other way: they use slim spring bars and are recommended only for the SRPD and SSK GMT.
Curved-end or two-piece: which do I need?
A bracelet or rubber strap made for one case is shaped to that case, so match it to your watch. A straight two-piece strap fits any watch with the right lug width: the waffle FKM strap fits watches with a 20mm or 22mm lug width, whatever the case style.
Oyster, Jubilee or President: what's the difference?
The Oyster is a three-link bracelet with wide centre links. The Jubilee has five links across, with smaller links in the centre. The President is a three-link bracelet with rounded, semicircular links. Each bracelet here is made for its own watch, so choose the pattern, then the bracelet for your case.
Can I use fat spring bars with the rubber straps?
Not with the waffle or tropic FKM straps. Fat spring bars won't fit them, and each comes with two spring bars.
