SKX007 Case Backs for Seiko Mod Builds
Every case back here is made for the Seiko SKX007 case, and many also name the SKX009 and SKX011, the SRPD case or our replacement cases. Most are made for the NH35 and NH36 movement, and some also come in a version for the 4R and 7S movement. Choose sapphire or sterile, then standard or slim.
Sapphire or Sterile
- Sapphire: a see-through case back with a sapphire window, so the movement shows. Pair it with one of our decorative NH rotors.
- Sterile: solid, with no logo, in polished, brushed or sandblasted finishes, and a chameleon version.
Standard or Slim
The slim case backs are thinner than the standard ones and list 100m water resistance; most standard case backs list 200m. Finishes run silver, gold, rose gold and black.

Which case back do I need for my movement?
Most are made for the NH35 and NH36. The C0813 SKX007 Slim Sterile Case Back and the C1013 SKX007 Slim Sapphire Case Back also come in a version for the 4R and 7S movement, so choose the version that matches the movement in your watch. If you're not sure which movement you have, message us and we'll help.
Does it come with a gasket?
No. The package includes the case back only. Check the gasket in your case when you fit it.
What water resistance do they have?
Each case back lists its own rating. The slim case backs list 100m, and most of the standard ones list 200m.
What's the difference between a sapphire and a sterile case back?
A sapphire case back has a sapphire window, so the movement shows. A sterile case back is solid, with no logo. Both are 316L stainless steel.
Can I have a case back engraved?
Yes, a sterile case back bought from our store. Contact us with your design first. Once it's approved, you buy the case back and the engraving service, and we send photos for your approval before shipping.
