Which Case Back Will Fit My Watch?

Before you get too excited and make your order, make sure that you check your Seiko watch movement.

If you are not familiar with the Seiko movement, it is the mechanism that powered watches with the movements of the user.

When Installing Seiko SKX007 Sapphire Case Back

You will need a couple of tools to successfully open and close your watch cases. You may want to use a case holder if you feel that the case back will be hard to open. Though some can open theirs by just firmly holding their watches.

Some modders also use a rubber ball to twist the case back.

If you want, you can use a case back wrench, just use the proper wrench tips.

Once you opened the case back, check if the edges are clean. Check the gasket as well. Then replace the case back with the sapphire case back. There should not be any strong resistance when you twist it to close. When you close your case back, you can use a rubber ball as well.
