Flat-End FKM Rubber Straps for Seiko Mod Builds
A flat-end FKM rubber watch strap isn't shaped to one case — it fits any watch with the same width between its lugs, so the same strap can move from one build to the next. Every strap here is FKM fluororubber: soft and comfortable on the wrist, washable, resistant to heat and chemicals, and longer-lasting than a traditional silicone strap. Strap Styles
Waffle straps, named for their raised grid, come in black, blue, brown, gray, green, olive green and red. Tropic straps take the basket-weave texture of the rubber dive straps of the 1960s, in black, blue, green, orange and red. The stitched FKM straps come in black and navy blue, and in two-tone black/red, black/orange, navy blue/red and navy blue/orange. The RS0563 and RS0564 are plain 22mm FKM straps in black and blue.
Sizes & Hardware
The waffle, tropic and stitched straps are offered in 20mm and 22mm lug widths, and the RS0563 and RS0564 in 22mm. Each one tapers toward the buckle — a 22mm strap to 20mm, a 20mm strap to 18mm. The waffle, tropic and RS straps close on a 316L stainless steel buckle, and the stitched straps on a brushed buckle. What's the difference between FKM and silicone rubber?
FKM is fluororubber. It is soft and comfortable on the wrist, washable, and resistant to heat and chemicals, and it lasts longer than a traditional silicone strap.
What lug width do I need?
Go by your case, not the watch model. These straps come in 20mm and 22mm, and a flat-end strap fits any case with that width between its lugs. Cases built on the same model can differ — the SKX007 replacement cases have 22mm lugs, while the SKX007 MM, 62mas and 6105 conversion cases have 20mm — so check the lug width of your case before ordering.
Do the tropic and waffle straps take fat spring bars?
No. The tropic and waffle straps come with two spring bars, and fat spring bars won't fit through the strap. Use the spring bars supplied with it.
