Gold on the bezel and steel everywhere else is the cheapest honest route to a two-tone Seiko mod, and it is reversible in a way a gold case never is — the bezel insert is the only gold part on the build, so you can try the look and change your mind. The Yacht Master cut suits it particularly well because the raised numerals catch the light as polished gold while the field behind them stays matte, which is what stops the whole thing reading as a flat gold ring. It seats in the bezel you already own.
