Black raised numerals on a black field give you a bezel you read by shape rather than by contrast — the figures are there in full, but they only declare themselves when the light crosses them at an angle, and the rest of the time the bezel insert is a plain dark ring. That is the quietest way to finish an SKX007 mod without giving up the Yacht Master cut, and it is the one of the six that disappears into a black-dialled build instead of framing it. Straight into the bezel already on the watch.
