Watch Crowns for Seiko Mod Builds
Every crown here is made for one watch, and its title says which. Choose your watch first, then the shape and finish. Most carry an engraved "S"; the sterile crowns carry no logo.
Crowns by Watch
- SKX007: engraved, knurled, sterile, slim, big and onion crowns. Most also fit the SKX009, SKX011 and SKX399.
- SKX013: standard, T1, knurled and slim. The slim crown also fits our 36mm case and our SRPE case with a 3 o'clock crown.
- SRPD: made for the Seiko 5 SRPD, each also fitting the Seiko 5 GMT SSK001, SSK003 and SSK005.
- SRPE: standard or knurled, made for the Seiko 5 SRPE watch.
- SRP Turtle Re-issue: standard or knurled, for the SRP777, SRP775 and SRP773.
Building on a Replacement Case?
Some of our cases take a different watch's crown. The SRPE replacement cases and several SKX007 conversion cases take an SKX013 crown, so check the crown your case names before you order.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will an SKX007 crown fit my SRPD?
The SKX007's crown screws down and the SRPD's doesn't. The SKX007 crowns here are made for the SKX007, and none lists the SRPD, which has crowns of its own, made for that watch.
Do the crowns come with a stem?
Most do, and each crown names its stem: a free stem for the NH movement on most, which also works on the 7S26, or two uncut stems on the SRPD crowns.
Which crown fits an SRPE replacement case?
An SKX013 crown. Neither an original nor a replacement SRPE crown fits the SRPE replacement cases.
What's the difference between signed and sterile?
A signed crown carries an engraved "S". A sterile crown carries no logo.
