SKX007 & SRPD Chapter Rings for Seiko Mod Builds
Every chapter ring here is titled for the SKX007 and SRPD, and every one with a measurement is listed for the Seiko SKX007, SKX009 and SKX011 (0200 case). The chapter ring is the ring around the edge of the dial, under the crystal, so changing it changes how that edge reads.
Chapter Ring Styles
- Micro marker: each ring carries its hour markers in one color: C1272 red, C1271 green, C1273 white, C1274 orange, C1275 yellow and C1276 blue.
- GMT: a 24-hour marker, on C0327 black/white, C0206 black/red, C0533 silver/black, C0565 blue/white, C0686 blue/red and C1191 engraved. C0453 is the engraved GMT ring with C3 lume.
- 05-60: C0767 silver, C0768 matte yellow, C0769 black, C0770 dark blue and C0804 orange.
- Laser etched: C0724 sandblasted silver, C0741 polished dark blue, C0197 brushed black, C0199 brushed silver, C0202 polished silver, C0786 polished rose gold and C0787 brushed rose gold.
- Lumed: C3 lume on C0655 and C1570 in black and C1208 and C1571 in silver, or BGW9 on C0284 in black and C1209 in silver.
- Angled: C1674 black, C1675 black/red, C1676 white and C1679 blue.
- Slim marker: C0531 with an orange marker and C0532 with a yellow marker, both on matte black.
Colors & Finishes
For a black ring with a colored marker, choose white (C0193), orange (C0194), red (C0195), yellow (C0196), gold (C0179) or blue (C0771). Colored rings with a marker come in light blue (C0185, C0186), ice blue (C0892), blue (C0180), green (C0184), orange (C0188), red wine (C0374), white (C1102), silver (C0205), brushed gold (C0182) and brushed rose gold (C0183).
For a plain band with no marker, choose a metal finish: polished gold (C0190), rose gold (C0191) or silver (C0201), brushed gold (C0181), silver (C0198) or rose gold (C0785), sandblasted gold (C0192) or plain sandblasted (C0454). In a color, choose polished or sandblasted dark blue (C0742, C0743), matte black (C0200), sunburst orange (C0543), dark green (C0544), red wine (C0545) or sky blue (C0546).
Size & Fitting
Every ring here except the four angled ones measures 30.5mm across the outside and 27.7mm across the inside. C0742, C0743 and C0374 have a leg at the back that secures the ring in the case. On C0180, C0181, C0182, C0183, C0184, C0190, C0191, C0785, C0786 and C0787, the page notes you might need adhesive to secure the ring.
