SKX007 & SRPD Chapter Rings for Seiko Mod Builds
The chapter ring is the ring around the outer edge of the dial, usually carrying its markings, so changing it changes the face without changing the dial. Every chapter ring here is made for the SKX007 and SRPD, and most also fit the Seiko SKX009 and SKX011 (0200 case).
Size & Fit
Apart from the angled rings, every ring here measures 30.5mm across the outside and 27.7mm across the inside. Some have a leg at the back that holds the ring in the case, and some may need adhesive to secure it.
Chapter Ring Styles
- Micro marker: hour markers in a single color: red, green, white, orange, yellow or blue.
- GMT: a 24-hour marker, in black/white, black/red, silver/black, blue/white or blue/red, or engraved in steel, including an engraved ring with C3 lume.
- 05-60: marked 05 to 60, in silver, black, dark blue, matte yellow and orange.
- Laser etched: laser-etched markers, in polished or brushed silver and rose gold, brushed black, polished dark blue and sandblasted silver.
- Lumed: black or silver rings with C3 or BGW9 lume.
- Angled: in black, black/red, white and blue.
- Slim marker: matte black with a slim orange or yellow minute track.
- Colored markers: black rings with white, orange, red, yellow, gold or blue markers, and light blue, ice blue, blue, green, orange, red wine and white rings with a marker.
- No marker: plain rings, in polished, brushed and sandblasted finishes and in colors from gold and rose gold to dark blue, matte black, sunburst orange, dark green, red wine and sky blue.
