Silver is the version that disappears into a steel case — put it in an SKX013 bezel and the watch reads as one piece of metal from the lugs to the crystal, with the scale showing only as raised relief catching the light. The markings are raised out of the surface rather than printed onto it, so there is no second colour anywhere on the face. The slope profile means it takes the sapphire cut for slope inserts, and the swap itself happens at the bezel.
