The first fifteen minutes here are marked out singly, minute by minute, and everything after that is batons every five — that opening quarter is the part of a dive bezel anyone actually turns, and the fine graduation is what makes it worth turning. Black markings on white ceramic put that run of thin lines dark against a bright ground, the reverse of how most inserts do it. It is a flat insert and it seats at the bezel, so nothing under the crystal moves.
