The LX profile trades the dive bezel's fine serrations for square notches cut at intervals around the rim, with a flat span between each one — it changes the outline of the watch rather than its colour, which is a different kind of Seiko mod from swapping an insert. In polished steel it sits closest of the seven to the tone of the rotating bezel it replaces, so the geometry does the talking on an SKX007 mod and the colour stays where Seiko put it. It is machined from 316L stainless steel, the same grade as the case it turns on.
