On a serrated bezel a colour lives in a hundred narrow facets; the LX profile gives it flat spans between the notches instead, wide enough that polished blue reads as one continuous surface on an SKX007 bezel with dark squares punched through it. This is the brighter of the two LX blues — the one to choose when the colour is meant to be the first thing anyone notices about a Seiko mod build. It is 316L stainless steel throughout, flats and notches alike.
