Dark blue does something on a dive case that black cannot — it carries the same weight without the severity, so an SKX007 mod still reads as a tool watch without going stealth. Under a full polish the colour deepens in the notch shadows and lifts again on the flats between them, which is the argument for taking the polished one over the blasted. It is a bezel swap and nothing more: the dial and the movement stay exactly where they are.
