The insert already on your Seiko mod drops straight into this one — a slim bezel changes the height of the ring, not the seat the insert sits in, so the only part of your SKX007 mod that has to be reconsidered is the crystal, and the rule there is flat sapphire rather than double dome. Gold is where the slim profile earns its keep most obviously: a full-height gold bezel is a lot of bright metal, and taking 0.6mm out of it leaves the colour and loses the bulk. Polished to a mirror, with the scalloped teeth catching light one at a time.
