Pair this one with a flat sapphire and the crystal question is settled before it comes up — the slim profile rules out the double dome, and the flat sapphires are where the whole SKX007 mod crystal range points anyway. Sandblasted black at 3.5mm is the most self-effacing Seiko mod bezel in this batch: no reflection off the flanks, no height off the case, so what you notice on the wrist is the insert and nothing framing it. The scalloped teeth are still there under the texture, and they still turn with a thumb.
