Sandblasting drops ceramic to the same light level as a brushed steel case, so the bezel stops being the brightest thing on the watch and the dial gets the attention back. What it leaves is a true grey rather than a washed-out black, and the scale printed on it is a 12-hour one — turn it to the offset and a second zone reads off the hour hand you already have. Nothing under the bezel changes, and the sapphire going over it should be a flat-insert cut.
