A silver bezel reads as an extension of the case, so this is the insert that takes an SKX out of dive-tool territory and makes it something you'd wear with a shirt. The ground is matte silver with the numerals raised and polished, which means the scale shows as light against light and only sharpens up when the watch tilts. Fitting it is an insert swap and a slope-cut crystal — the dial, hands and movement stay exactly as they are.
