Most lumed inserts give you a pip at 12 and leave the rest dark. On this one the entire track lights — every numeral, every baton, every minute dot and the triangle — in the blue-green BGW9 gives rather than the usual flat green. In daylight it's simply black with white markings, so the watch keeps an ordinary face right up until the lights go down. Fitting it is a bezel-only job: a flat-cut crystal over the top, and the dial, hands and movement stay where they are.
