Blacked-out bezels work by finish rather than by contrast — the numerals and batons here are the same black as the ceramic around them, so the scale appears only where the light happens to catch it and disappears again when you turn your wrist. It's the full SKX layout underneath, dotted at every single minute rather than only at the fives, with a pale pip at 12 as the one deliberate break in the darkness. It seats into the bezel already on your watch and asks nothing of the dial or hands.
