There is no black anywhere on this one — ground and markings are both gold, and the scale reads by the change in finish alone, polished numerals standing raised out of a matte gold field. That is what makes a Yacht Master bezel look expensive rather than loud: at arm's length it's a plain warm ring, and the figures only resolve when the light moves across them. Slope profile for a slope-cut sapphire, and nothing beneath the bezel is disturbed to fit it.
