Swapping the dive track for numerals 1 to 12 changes what the bezel is for: a full turn is half a day rather than an hour, so lining a numeral against the hour hand counts hours elapsed instead of minutes. On a Turtle mod — a case that reads as a dive watch from across a room — that is the cheapest way to take the edge off it and leave something closer to a field watch. The numerals are engraved into the brushed steel with a small arrow between each, and the bezel insert drops into the rotating bezel you already have.
