      Every insert here is ceramic. Ceramic is far harder than the steel bezel it sits in, so it resists the everyday scratches a bezel takes, and its colour is part of the material, so it doesn't fade in sunlight.

      Choose Your Watch

      Choose a Scale

      • Dive scale: Sub, SKX, Vintage Sub, Mil Sub, PO and U1 style. Turn the bezel until the triangle sits over the minute hand, and it reads the minutes that have passed.
      • Dual time: a 12-hour scale. Turn it by the hour difference, and the hour hand reads a second time zone in 12-hour time.
      • GMT: a 24-hour scale, read by a GMT hand, so it belongs on an NH34 GMT or Seiko 5 GMT (SSK) build.
      • Yacht Master, count down timer and sterile.

      Flat or Slope

      The profile decides which crystal sits flush with the insert, so each insert names the crystal we recommend with it. Check its inner and outer measurements against your bezel before ordering, too.

      Are ceramic bezel inserts scratch-resistant?

      Yes. Ceramic is far harder than the steel bezel around it, so it resists everyday scratches, and its colour is part of the material, so it doesn't fade in sunlight.

      Will an SKX007 ceramic insert fit my SKX013 or SRP Turtle?

      No. The SKX007 and SRPD ceramic inserts are 38mm across, the SKX013's 33.6mm and the SRP Turtle's 39–39.1mm, so each watch takes its own.

      What's the difference between dual time and GMT?

      A dual time insert is a 12-hour scale: turn it by the hour difference and the hour hand reads a second time zone in 12-hour time. A GMT insert is a 24-hour scale read by a GMT hand, so it belongs on an NH34 GMT or Seiko 5 GMT (SSK) build.
